There’s no better way to spend your Christmas break than binge-watching a new show on Netflix. You have no responsibilities for over a month, so why not sit in your bed all day and watch nine seasons of One Tree Hill? I was a little hesitant to start this show, but thought, “Everyone else loves it, so why not give it a shot?" I surely was not disappointed.
1. Lucas Scott is HOT.
The moment this beautiful, blonde hair, blue-eyed boy makes his way onto your screen, it’ll be love at first sight. Chad Michael Murray has always been one of my favorite actors and I am extremely happy I get to see his beautiful face for 186 more episodes of One Tree Hill. Did I mention he looks even hotter while playing basketball?
2. WHO STEALS A BUS?!
Don’t people normally steal smaller things? I was very surprised to see a bunch of rowdy teenagers taking a school bus for a little post-game joy ride around town after a Tree Hill Ravens basketball victory. They definitely turned that school bus into a party bus!
3. Nathan is such a jerk!
I’ll just leave it at that, he’s a jerk.
4. Why does Nathan have his nipple pierced?
I was not expecting Mr. Popular to have a nipple piercing.
5. I hope Nathan breaks his ankles.
While watching the brother vs. brother basketball challenge, I was cheering on the kinder and hotter Scott brother Lucas and his impressive basketball skills. I know he left Nathan embarrassed, but I really wanted to see that jerk left with broken ankles.
6. HA, Nathan lost.
The better Scott brother came out victorious. I'm sure there will be more brotherly competitions between Lucas and Nathan throughout the series. But, Nathan got what he deserved. He’s cocky, arrogant, and did I mention a jerk? The better basketball player came out on top.
7. Why didn’t I start this show earlier?
I think I may have been living under a rock for the past few years. I am very thankful that my friends introduced me to this show. I am also thankful that Netflix has every episode available at my fingertips. Christmas break would be very boring without One Tree Hill in my life.
8. Can I watch all nine seasons over Christmas break?
Thankfully, there are nine seasons of One Tree Hill, which means more opportunities to obsess over Chad Michael Murray- aka Lucas Scott. What person wouldn’t want to binge-watch 187 episodes of a show this great? You know what you can find me doing for the next month or so.
