My little sister is the one person I get choked up thinking and talking about.

She is my best friend even though I'm sure she doesn't think so.

There are so many things I wish I could tell her but never really knew how to until now. So Sis, this is for you…

1. You have the brightest future of anyone I have ever met.

Just trust me on this.

2. You are beautiful

You're the one that gets all the guys after you and you don't have to do a thing - they flock to you naturally I don't know how you do it. Not only can you get any guy's attention just like that, but you are naturally beautiful - you are so photogenic it's not even funny! You truly are a model.

3. You know how to piss me off and get me absolutely furious

I swear you get satisfaction out of it but you know how to push my buttons more than anyone else in my life.

4. I'll ALWAYS be here to protect you

People can say what they want, do what they want to me, but as soon as they try to start problems with you or say anything about you, that's where I draw the line!

5. If I ever need help hiding a body, you’ll be my first call - no doubt

We’ve watched enough Law And Order and NCIS to know how to make it look like an accident and if we get caught, I'm pretty sure you’d be able to argue our case. You’re quite good at it... Trust me.

6. I seriously appreciate you always

Well, for the most part, being willing to listen to me vent and offer some sort of advice that in some way in the end always helps me get through whatever struggle I may be going through.

7. You never fail to make me laugh, even on my worst days.

Facts.

8. I love you more than you will ever know

Yes, we can fight terribly, but i can’t picture life without you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
