8 Things I've Said, But Haven't Said To You Yet
Brooke Swift

1. You were the most wonderful way to ruin my favorite song.

2. I will admit that I confused a lesson with a soulmate, but my God you were a beautiful lesson.

3. When we went through hell and high water, I built you a boat so big that both of our hearts, your self-esteem issues, and my enormous lack of trust, could fit and you took what was yours and mine and went West.

4. I know you had reasons for doing what you did. I mean we all have reasons for doing what we do, even if you were unaware of them.

5. I don't get it.
Wasn't I good to you?
Now I'm good without you,
Is that not what you wanted?

6. I'm moving on.

7. You said you missed me and I know it's because you're either lonely or bored or some terrible combination of the two.

8. When you left me, everyone told me, "if you love someone let them go, and if they come back, they were always yours."
But I never let you go.
I'm not sure I was ever yours.
And I don't want you to come back.

There are days when you just need your mom

To Mom

There really is no way to prepare yourself for the loss of someone. Imagine that someone being the one who carried you for 9th months in their belly, taught you how to walk, fought with you about little things that only a mother and daughter relationship could understand. You can have a countless number of father figures in your life, but really as my mom always said, " you only get one mom."

You hear your phone go off. He's asking you to hang out. Then, of course, you get the advice of your friends to decipher this text. Is it just hanging out or is it more than hanging out? Winter Break As Told By 'Friends'

Is a month at home too much to handle?

14440

If you're anything like me, winter break is a much-needed light at the end of the tunnel after a long, stressful semester. Working hard for 15 weeks can really take a toll on a person mentally, physically AND emotionally. It's a nice change of pace to be back at home with your family and friends, but after a couple weeks, it can get, well... boring.
