8 Signs That He's Only Playing You

Finding something real is somewhat hard to find nowadays, isn't it? For some men out there, the dating scene is purely fun and games. As a woman, sometimes it is hard to see through their empty words, but there are just certain red flags. Don't be fooled, ladies! Here's how to tell when a guy is playing you.

1. He doesn't answer texts for hours on end.

You send him a cute morning message or a quick hello and NOTHING. Sometimes, you may even double text. Being crazy obsessive is not cute, however, if he disappears for long amounts of time like that, that's definitely a sign.

2. He tells you that he's "scared of commitment".

Don't fall for this one! If a man really wants you, he will commit to you and stay. So many times, this classic line is used, but it is a bunch of bologna. Don't waste your time!

3. He keeps you a secret.

If a guy doesn't want a relationship with you, he may try to keep you hidden. Especially if he has other girls on the side! Wouldn't want them to find out about you, right? Watch out for that!

4. You haven't met his family.

You can tell that a guy is serious when he introduces you to his family. If he feels weird about you meeting his folks, he is most likely looking at you as being temporary.

5. You never go out together.

You spend a lot of time "chilling" and not going out places. A guy who only wants to hang out at home is something that you do not want to deal with. If he doesn't want to do other things with you like going out to lunch, taking a walk, etc., he is most likely playing you.

6. He asks you to come over late at night.

He asks you to come over later on in the evening all of the time. Maybe he asks you to stop by around 1 am or even 2. Let's be honest ladies, he doesn't have a nice date setup for you. If a guy only wants you in the middle of the night, kick him to the curb!

7. He's inconsistent.

There are days where he's nice to you and there are days where he's not. If a guy is inconsistent with how he treats you, he isn't serious about you. If a guy really cares about you, he will show it. All of the time.

8. He isn't open with his feelings.

If a guy doesn't say how he feels about you, he might just not feel anything. This is hard to judge, but if he isn't telling you what is going on in his mind, how are you going to know? He may be uncomfortable with opening up, but it is also possible that he is only playing you.

Be careful! If the guy you're talking to seems to be doing anything that makes you raise your eyebrows, keep your guard up. Not everyone has good intentions, so it's important to see the warning signs and avoid getting hurt. If you have a good guy in your life, that's great. There are a good amount of us that get lucky. But sometimes, there are people in our lives who don't treat us the way we should be treated. And although it may hurt, you have to accept the truth; they're only playing you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
