Congratulations! You made it through another year of school and are getting that much closer to entering the real world and wondering what the heck you're going to do for your future. Summer vacation is supposed to be a time to forget all of the previous semester struggles and just enjoy your time off. However, I've begun to feel that with every summer, or any sort of vacation has been quite dreadful.
It has come to a point where I can't tell the difference between being on vacation and, dare I say it, still being in school. *Throws holy water and begins saying different prayers.* Allow me to explain why summer has just turned into just an extended school semester.
1) You're sleeping schedule is abnormal.
You're either getting less than 4 hours or more than 9 hours of sleep a night. In school it's because you're studying. On summer vacation it's because you have no responsibilities and way too much free time.
2) You binge watch Netflix... a lot.

3) Procrastination still exists no matter what time of the year. (i.e. tuition, plans with friends, your future.)

4) You can never keep your days straight.
In school, you have so many things going on you can never fully be positive what day of the week it is without looking at the calendar or going by what class you have that day. Now with all that sleep you have or have not been getting you can't seem to figure out which day is which. Luckily, you can narrow it down by figuring out which one of your favorite shows is playing that day.
5) Avoiding people.

6) You're broke.
In school you're broke because of expenses like commuting, food, textbooks, tuition, etc. In summer you're broke because you're recovering from said expenses. Plus there's no worry in spending money if you only leave your house one day out of two weeks to go out and socialize.
7) You never seem to have anyone to hangout with.

8) And last but not least, you feel like it never ends!
