Even if she annoyed you at first, we have all found something to love about her.

I'll go ahead and admit it: I used to severely dislike Taylor Swift (I won't go as far as to say "hate"). There was something about her that just irked me. When I heard her sing live on TV in 2009 I wasn't impressed. That being said, in the last year or so, Taylor Swift has inhabited a soft spot in my heart and I can't help but jam to "Wildest Dreams" in my car. Here are the eight reasons why we all eventually come to love Taylor Swift.

1. She is a troll in the funniest way possible.

A Tumblr user posted an image of a young Taylor Swift and captioned the photo with a sad story explaining that the girl in the photo was her friend Becky who died by "snorting marijuana." Shortly after, another Tumblr user commented back stating "pretty sure that's Taylor Swift" to which the original user commented back "no it's Becky." This online exchange went viral and made its way to Taylor Swift who in turn had a "no it's Becky" shirt made.

2. She knows she can't dance but she doesn't care.

Come on. We've all been there. It's 1:30 a.m. and we're nowhere near being ready to wrap up the party. A shot or two later and we're on the dance floor feeling like Beyonce. It's not until the next morning when we wake up to a video text message that we realize we were more so channeling Carlton than Destiny's Child. Taylor doesn't need a morning-after text message to know she doesn't have the best rhythm. She knows. She just doesn't care.

3. She writes her own music.

Taylor either writes or co-writes all of her own songs. In this day and age, being a singer/song-writer combo is pretty rare. Kudos to you for your word-smithing ways, Taylor.

4. Her legs are all of the goals.

There are few people who can pull off this skort. Taylor can, and she kills it.

5. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" is the best break-up song.

Picture this: You have just broken up with your college boyfriend. There are so many things that you love about him but there are also a multitude of things you overlooked because he opened jars for you and killed the bugs in your apartment. Now that he no longer does those things, the blanket has been lifted from your eyes and you start to realize all the things you dealt with that you shouldn't have. You blast this song and make a huge leap in the "getting over him" process. Congratulations. Now pour yourself some wine and play this song one more time. Trust me, your neighbors won't mind if it's in the pursuit of mending a broken heart.

6. She believes in true love.

Who cares if she's dated an army of Hollywood men? Are you seriously telling me that if John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas all asked you out in succession, you would say no? I don't think so.

7. Her music makes you want to jam.

Twenty-two? Who cares if you are only 14 years old. When we all heard that song, we couldn't wait to turn 22. And what is a 22nd birthday Instagram pic if we don't caption it with "I'm feeling 22?"

8. Her cats are adorable.

Even if you are not a cat person, you can't deny Meredith and Olivia's adorability. Plus Taylor frequently makes fun of how disinterested Meredith is in being her cat.

The bottom line? Taylor Swift is a hard person to dislike. She's just so cute, goofy and fun. When we're down, her songs pep us back up and when we're drunk, her songs turn us into pop star goddesses. I think it's safe to say we've all jumped on the Taylor train. Chugga chugga choo choo.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
