Well Dad, I never thought there would be a day that I would actually say that I miss you, you annoying pain in the butt. Even though, you are beyond overprotective of me, I guess it's just because you are my dad and that's what dads do.
#1- You are treated like a princess.
No matter what age you are you get treated like a princess. Whether it's goodnight kisses or even being spoiled a little bit. Your dad will treat you the way you should be treated (never forget that).
#2- They'll beat up boys.
As nerve wracking it can be for you when your dad first meets your boyfriend, it's hilarious. They try to act all cool and uptight when you know they're just putting on an act.
#3- You have inside jokes with him.
You'll never admit it in person but your dad and your have the coolest inside jokes. (@MikeLynch dancing in the car and always trying to steal my Reese's Peanut Butter Cups).
#4- Our dads are cool.
I really hate admitting this one but we all know it's true - our dads are cool.
#5- They are overprotective.
Even if you are wearing clothes that cover your whole body, they still have a freak out about it regardless.
#6- They always encouraged us to do sports.
Even if they knew we sucked at sports they would still push us to try hard enough at what they would sign us up for. (Ex: basketball, dance, soccer, softball)
#7- They come to concerts and hear us scream over our favorite boy bands.
I know my dad had to deal with a bunch of obsessions. (Ex: Iconic Boyz, Will Ahrens, Justin Bieber, Ian Eastwood).
#8- They are truly our best friends.
No matter how much we don't want to admit it we always know our dads will be our best friends forever.
