Ladies and gentlemen, kids of all ages, snowbirds and spring breakers-- pack your bags! We’re headed to the world's most famous beach-- Daytona Beach. Located in sunny Florida, Daytona is the home of many popular tourist attractions. I had the pleasure of calling this lively town home for a year and here are 8 places I think you should visit In Daytona Beach:
1. Ocean Deck
Hands down, the best food on the beachside. As a Northerner, I really struggled to find food I enjoyed in the South. I was intrigued when passing by Ocean Deck as it is one of the few beachside restaurants with an actual beach view. Not only do they offer delicious food and a great variety of adult beverages, they also have a family friendly deck above the beach deck and bar located downstairs. Both rooms offer a direct view of the beach and they frequently hold concerts. Last summer I saw Afroman as well as several local bands. You can even give karaoke a go at Ocean Deck!
They are Located at 127 S Ocean Ave Daytona Beach, Florida.
2. Zeno's Boardwalk Sweet Shop
Home of 101 flavors of taffy and the best ice cream I’ve ever had, Zeno’s is a family owned and operated sweet shop on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Not only is everything in the store homemade and hands down delicious, but the staff is super friendly. I was lucky enough to be a part of the team last summer. You can often find the owner, his wife and family in the store helping out and greeting customers with a friendly smile. My personal recommendation is the pineapple upside down cake ice cream. If you're a taffy person, Zeno’s offers 101 delicious and interesting flavors. You can even sample a piece-- just remember it's one per person! Zeno's also offers tours in their newly opened factory located in South Daytona.
You can find Zeno’s Boardwalk Sweet Shop at 1101 Main St, Daytona Beach, FL 32118.
3. Moxie Vintage
Moxie Vintage is a thrift shop, as you may have guessed. They are not your typical Goodwill either. Here you will find so much more than used t-shirts and old tennis shoes. They have an eclectic assortment of retro, mid-century items to fill your home and closet with. A must see for art lovers, History Buffs and thrift shoppers.
Moxie Vintage Is located at 114 N Beach St. Daytona Beach, Florida.

Hamburger Mary’s is surely a unique business. Hamburger Mary’s believes “you are what you eat” so they only serve fresh ingredients. The burgers are not only delicious but uniquely named to make for a fun dining experience from start to finish. That’s not all, Hamburger Mary’s also carries a full liquor license.
