Be it at the skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park or the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park, anyone will enjoy a fun-filled day of ice skating. Plus, nothing beats the view!


2. See the Zoolights at Lincoln Park Zoo

Every year, Lincoln Park Zoo decorates its park with an abundance of Christmas lights and it's nothing short of impressive. Share a hot chocolate with your significant other or your BFF while admiring the lights.


3. Admire Macy's windows on State

Macy's always goes above and beyond to ensure that their window displays are up to par. Stop by the windows while taking a break from Christmas shopping on State or while on your way to the skating ribbon.


4. Enjoy holiday festivities at Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier

Whether you're riding the amusement rides or taking a picture with Santa, anybody will definitely feel the holiday cheer at Navy Pier. Tickets start at $10.


5. Sip on some spiced wine at the Christkindlmarket

The Christkindlmarket is located conveniently in the heart of the loop in Daley Plaza. Browse the unique crafts while picking up a delicious German snack. Don't forget your souvenir mug!


6. Gaze at the city's Christmas tree

The towering, 69-foot tree straight from Wauconda, Illinois is definitely a sight to see. Stop by after the sun's gone down to see it lit-up and in action.


7. Ride the CTA holiday train

8. Pick up a holiday cupcake at Sprinkles
