Fall is officially here which means so are all of those pictures on Instagram of those cute fall dates. Whether you have a boyfriend, or just getting together with your girls, it's possible to have fall themed fun on a budget. Here are eight fall date ideas that won't break your bank:

1. Pumpkin Carving

It only costs a few dollars to get a pumpkin, then everything else is at home! It's easy to hop on Pinterest and find unique ideas that you guys can work on together for the ultimate experience. Just remember to put a table cloth or something down to help cleaning up.

2. Bake Some Fall Treats.

Two words: Pumpkin everything. It doesn't take much to find a recipe you both love. Up next, baking and baking!

3. Go on a hike.

Fall means sweater weather, so dress warm and go on a hike! This gives you exercise, while being able to enjoy the changing leaves and scenery.

4. Apple Picking

Apple picking can be a fun date that can turn into a whole day of different activities. You can venture somewhere new, explore for a bit, then pick apples. Finally, you then go home and turn those apples into different things like pie or sauces!

5. Play in the leaves.

Rake up the leaves and then have fun jumping in mountain high piles of them! It could even turn into a cool Boomerang for your Insta, just saying.

6. Have a bonfire and make some s'mores.

It's nice to warm up on a chilly night around a fire. There can be some cuddling and s'mores will make that experience a little sweeter too.

7. Make caramel apples and hot apple cider.

Get creative while making one of the sweetest treats of the season. This is especially perfect for the couple that isn't good at complicated dishes. A yummy date night, under 10 dollars.

8. Star watch while sipping hot chocolate.

There is never a bad day to lay on a blanket, hold hands, and look up at the stars. You can even pack some hot chocolate to stay warm during the chilly fall night!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
