8 Faces That Every Teacher Can Relate To

Being a teacher is one of the coolest jobs on the planet. You go to work everyday never knowing exactly what you are going to get. There is never a day that is the same. Though we all love our job, our days are full of "wtf" moments that are just too ridiculous to make up. Here is a compilation of faces that all teachers can relate to.

1. When a kid asks you a question that has nothing to do with what you’re teaching.

There's nothing more frustrating than being in the middle of a riveting discussion about similes and metaphors, when someone raises their hand and asks you what would happen if there was a chicken revolution and chickens took over the world. Excuse me, what!?

2. When a kid asks what the directions are right after you just explained the directions for the 3rd time.

Someone asking for directions literally seconds after you have finished giving them is inevitable. "You better hope the person sitting next to you was listening" is one of the most used phrases.

3. When a kid farts in class.

Kids are literally so disgusting. Call on them when they aren't paying attention and they'll get embarrassed...yet they'll let one rip in class and not even be phased.

4. When grades are due by 3pm

Oh shit.

5. When a parent shows up late to a 504/IEP meeting

Sure. I'll wake up a half an hour earlier than normal to get to school for a 7:30 meeting to discuss accommodations for your child. But don't worry, you don't have to be there until 7:45.

6. When there is food in the teacher’s room.

Nothing better than baked goods in the teacher's room. Carb up.

7. When you have lunch duty and watch 12 year olds eat ketchup and mayonnaise packets.

Nothing makes me lose my appetite faster than a cafeteria full of middle schoolers shoving food down their gullet.

8. Leaving school on Friday.

Sorry guys but Miss Cox is off duty.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
