The Documentaries categories is one of the most underrated categories on Netflix, and documentaries, in general, aren't given the appreciation they deserve. Not only are they interesting and informative, they are highly entertaining and offer unique perspectives not found in popular film. While a single store in New York City may not seem like enough to sustain an entire film and maintain viewers' interest, "Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's" proves that it can, and with style. This documentary about a college basketball player didn't initially strike me as something I'd enjoy, but I decided to give it a chance and watch it anyway, and I was not disappointed. "Tig" is a documentary that is both very sad and a little bit funny. It follows comedian Tig Notaro after she experiences a series of tragedies including losing her mother and being diagnosed with breast cancer and performs a viral and instantly legendary stand-up set at the Largo theater,

Many of you, I hope, have already seen this series. If you haven't you definitely should watch it. Even if you have, it's worth rewatching for stunning visuals and narration. I am always surprised at how genuinely funny, enthralling and suspenseful this series is to watch.
7. "The Propaganda Game"
This documentary gives an inside look at the most secretive nation in the world. It's worth watching just to see glimpses of a country that most of us no so little about. As the title implies, the idea of propaganda is prominent in the film, and will leave you questioning what is true, in both western media, and North Korean media.
8. "Mitt"
It's hard to watch this documentary and not feel a little bit sad. Regardless of your political views, you will feel for the Romney family as they experience the campaign together. Hopefully, it will convince you that Mitt Romney is indeed a human and not a robot.
