70 Things You Never Have To Ask Your Roommates Because The Answer Is Always Yes

I'm #blessed to have my roommates with some of my best friends. Generally life in the apartment is smoother and more peaceful than living with strangers would have been. We're in sync with each other. Since we're so close, I understand exactly where our interests and desires overlap. So, there are somethings I simply don't have to ask anymore because the answer will always be 'yes'.

1. Can you come here for a second?

2. Can I just have a hug?

3. Can I turn on the "Hamilton" soundtrack?

4. Is that the "Hamilton" soundtrack?

5. Can you turn it up?

6. Will you split take-out with me?

7. Do you want Chinese food?

8. Can you help me pick out a shirt?

9. Skirt?

10. Shoes?

11. Earrings?

12. Nail polish?

13. It's okay if I haven't shaved in a week, right?

14. Can I use the bathroom while you're in the shower?

15. Can you proofread this for me?

16. Can you help me respond to this text?

17. Can I just not wear pants tonight?

18. Can I just not wear a bra tonight?

19. Will you go to Nighthound with me?

20. Can you pick up ice cream for me?

21. Do you want to finish this ice cream for me?

22. Will you go to dinner with me?

23. Can you wait for me to go to dinner?

24. Can I rant for just a second?

25. So just hear me out, okay?

26. Can we watch a movie tonight?

27. Can it be "Mama Mia"?

28. "Princess and the Frog"?

29. "Tangled"?

30. "Hairspray"?

31. Can we sing along the entire time?

32. Can I borrow your shirt?

33. Skirt?

34. Shoes?

35. Earrings?

36. Nail polish?

37. Can I have my stuff back?

38. Can we not leave the apartment this weekend?

39. We can just eat junk food all weekend, right?

40. Like popcorn?

41. And cookies?

42. Oh my gosh, can we make cookies?

43. Can we just eat the cookie dough though, because it feels like it takes forever for them to bake?

44. Do I really have to go to class?

45. Are you sure?

46. Do you think I can make it in the real world?

47. Even if I don't do my laundry for a few weeks?

48. Don't tell me I'm gross, you've done it, too, right?

49. Can you wait for me to do laundry?

50. Can we real talk?

51. Do you get really stressed out?

52. Like so stressed out you can't even function?

53. Really?

54. I didn't know that, do you want to talk about it?

55. The next time we get like this, let's promise to talk to each other, okay?

56. Can we do something fun this weekend?

57. Like go to the aquarium?

58. Or a museum?

59. I can take a nap today, right?

60. Can we get a kitten?

61. A puppy?

62. A baby bunny?

63. Oh my gosh can we adopt that baby bunny that lives in the bushes?

64. We would be the best baby bunny parents, wouldn't we?

65. Do I have to wear pants to go to class?

66. But they're so uncomfortable, are you sure?

67. Even if it's only fifty minutes?

68. Would you love me even if I wasn't the amazing roommate that I am?

69. Do you know you're my best friend?

70. You know I love you, right?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
