Some Of The Weirdest Things You'll Find On Etsy

Etsy is a great website. It has everything from handmade jewelry to vintage armoires, and you know you'll always find something completely unique. But sometimes the things can get a little bit interesting and, as a very dedicated Etsy shopper (ask any of my friends and they'll confirm), I've had lots of encounters with some of the strangest things ever. That aside, I would like to pay homage to one of my personal favorite Etsy sites, just because it is so ridiculous.

I came across this shop, Granny's Hope Chest, over the summer, and have been positively obsessed ever since. Why, you ask? Because the shop sells nothing but saintly renditions of celebrities on candles, that's why. Look at this candle of Kanye:


Amazing, right? The shop understands him perfectly, in my opinion. That look, his utter devotion to nothing but himself... Really, having a candle of himself is really all he could ever want.

Then there's the Snoop Dogg Prayer Candle.

Truly, I want nothing more in life than to be able to pray to Snoop Dogg as my savior (that's 100% not true, but just look at how happy he is!)


There are a few characters I love less, such as Donald Trump (look at that face he's making) and Justin Bieber, but hey, who am I to judge? If the people want Trump and Bieber, the people want Trump and Bieber.

Seriously, this is shop is a gem. I really just want to know if they make custom designs.... (Hey, Dad, how would you like a candle of yourself for Christmas?)
