Dieting is not an easy task. I mean, let's be honest, how long do diets typically end up lasting? I give mine a few days before I cave. Okay, I take that back. A few hours. And I know what you're thinking: wow, that's pretty pathetic. But come on! Who hasn't done that? There's too many frozen pizzas in my apartment and way too many late night McDonalds fry escapades for me to be able to easily stay on a healthy eating kick. I think sometimes it's OK to just bend the rules for "healthy," because let's be honest, who wants to eat rice cakes for every meal? Its like cardboard, seriously. So here's a few ways to stick to your healthy college lifestyle plan, bending the rules a little, "New Girl" style.
1. Cut out processed foods.
2. Be innovative and try new foods if your current diet isn't working for you.
3. Don't starve yourself!
4. Keep your priorities straight.
5. Give yourself a few cheat days.
6. And lots of rest days.
7. Finally, find what works for you.
