7 Totally FREE Date Ideas

This ones for my fellow college couples. You're not a college student until you've officially gone broke. Have no fear. Check out these awesome dates that wont hurt your wallet!

1. Massages

Sounds expensive, huh? Going to a salon and laying down on an uncomfortable leather table while a stranger rubs you down with oil isn't all its cracked up to be though. Get your massage for free in the comfort of your own bed! All you need is to grab some lotion, dim the lights, and light some candles. Take turns giving the massages. It's a great way to end your night feeling relaxed and stress-free.

2. The Ultimate Cook-Off

Love to cook? Love a little competition? If you answered yes to one or both of these questions then this is the perfect date for you! Plan a night in with your boyfriend or girlfriend where you prepare a meal for each other. There's only one rule: you can only use what you already have in your refrigerator or pantry at home. Be the Top Chef and the critic all in one.

3. Go to a Museum

Most people are unaware of the beauty embodied inside of museums and that there are tons of them that are 100% free! A lot of museums are run solely on donations and will recommend paying a "suggested" price, which really means you could pay anything you want (or nothing at all). A trip to a museum is the perfect place to start when dating on a budget. Take your significant other out to see the world through history, art, and fashion without breaking the bank.

4. Go for a Bike Ride

Remember when you were a kid and your bike was pretty much like the only transportation you had? You're teenage self felt a rush of freedom every time you took off on those two wheels. Grab your significant other for a fun-filled throwback bike ride around your town.

5. Have a Picnic

Get some blankets and head to a local park on a sunny day to enjoy a perfect lunch date with your significant other. Make some homemade sandwiches, macaroni salad and iced tea. Oh and don't forget fruit. Lots of fruit.

6. Photo-Shoot

Ever hear the phrase "all dressed up with no where to go?" Here's your excuse. Go all out feeling sexy and confident with your significant other and have your very own photo-shoot. You can do it right in your house up against a solid colored wall or you can take it outside for a more nature-y look. Either way, just have fun. You can capture the moments of memory making that will last a life-time!

7. Go to a Zoo

Lions and tigers and bears...OH-kay, all you animal lovers, this one's for you. So, not all zoo's are FREE...but most zoo's offer free days every single week. Find out when your favorite zoo is doing this and head over to spend a day waking around to see some of your favorite animals.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
