"One Tree Hill" is a series that shows the realities of life. Throughout the really good and the really bad, connecting with the characters wasn't a difficult task. However, while viewers think Lucas, Haley, or Brooke are the wisest characters on the show, I'd like to think little James Lucas Scott is the smartest of the bunch.

Jamie has the ability to truly feel for another person. If something bad happens to someone he loves, he will always be there for them. Not only that, he understands that there is bad in the world and isn't scared by it.

3. He's accepting.

This is something that everyone both young and old should be saying. Do yourself a favor and take this note from Jamie.

4. He knows that the best is all you can do

No matter what the outcome is, nothing matters if you didn't give it your all. This applies to everything in life.

5. He is there for everyone

Whether he's known them his whole life or just met them, Jamie is always quick to love and let people know that he is there for them.

6. He realizes what it is like to love

He knows what love is, and he knows it is one of the most important things in life. Even though missing someone is hard, Jamie teaches us that people that have made an impact on your life are worth missing.

7. He's his own person.

Jamie said it best, some people are leaders and some people are followers. Being yourself and not following what other people do make you the best version of yourself.
