7 TikTok Songs to Add to Your Party Playlist ASAP

Like most people in quarantine, I've spent a lot of time listening to music and arguably too much time scrolling through TikTok. There's something about the dancing videos and catchy songs that can keep you sucked in for hours at a time. Some songs used in the app are popular ones that a lot of users would immediately recognize, but some of the songs are new and unfamiliar tracks that you can't help but nod your head to.

While daydreaming for football season and times when I will be able to hang out with all of my friends again, I realized that there were a few songs I needed to add to my party playlist as soon as possible. Here are seven of the best songs from your TikTok feed that you'll want to have queued up for your post-quarantine parties:

"Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion

Everyone at your party will recognize this song because of the dance that blew up their feeds for over a month. Many tried it, many failed it, but regardless "Savage" guarantees a good time.

"Addison Rae" by The Kid LAROI

Addison Rae, @addisionraee, is the Hype House dancer all over your For You page. She has incredible dance moves and such a bubbly personality it's hard not to like her content. Believe it or not, there's even a song about her.

"Levi High" by DaniLeigh feat. DaBaby

Can't decide what to wear? Levi jeans are fitting for any group get-together and this catchy track hypes you up just like your best friend would.

"I Like Him" by Princess Nokia

This song was first used in TikToks to show off celebrity crushes. "I Like Him" serves up a lot of attitude and is perfect to play when you're getting ready to go out with all of your friends.

"After Party" by Don Toliver

"After Party" is probably the catchiest song on TikTok at the moment and has a fun partner dance to go along with it. Play this at your next function and see how many people show off their dancing skills.

"Lottery (Renegade)" by K CAMP

When someone thinks of TikTok they probably think of this song first. After all, if you don't know "Lottery (Renegade)" and hopelessly practiced the accompanying dance for hours, are you really a TikTok user?

"VIBES" by DaBaby

DaBaby has a bunch of songs that have skyrocketed in popularity on TikTok, and this is just one of them. You probably have a video posted or saved in your drafts with this track playing in the background.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
