Welcome to the week of Christmas and all through the house - nothing is ready and it's time to SCREAM!
Some may question this is happening and the answer is simple: PROCRASTINATION! To some of us, we have lived with this irritating friend for so long there is a plan already in motion. For others you are panicking and have NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! Others may not understand what you could possibly be stressing about.
Well here is a list of the top 7 things people stress about 7 days before Christmas! Trust me this list is serious and if you see someone screaming: just hug them or hand them some eggnog to help with whatever Christmas spirit is left in their body!
1. Finding a Christmas Tree (real of fake!)
I mean I would never suggest stealing someones tree from their office...but if for some reason its the LAST RESORT - just leave a IOU note and bring it back like the day after or New Years eve!
2. Finding the right Christmas Gifts anywhere!
Yeah trying to find the right gift for someone at this time unless the price was horrible before and is perfect now! I mean it's a great idea to tell someone that you are their gift due to your friendship and/or love. Go ahead, just slap a bow on yourself, look cute, and be ready for someone to smack you for it...
3. Money...
So at this time of the week, you are probably either running low on cash or waiting for it to hit your bank to buy gifts. You hope there is still some left for you to spoil yourself but you made it rain so hard on those gifts that you just stick to the $1 menu at McDonlads until next payday or for some cash from Grandma!
4. Being the host for Christmas dinner.
So this can only be a problem if you don't know how to cook the full course meal for Christmas dinner! Or you are so confused because you had no idea this was a thing so you have to run around figuring how to make some type of delicious meal other than ordering pizza and wings!
5. Wrapping Christmas presents for everyone!
Some people are experts are wrapping, they find someone to wrap their gifts, or they just say screw it and put it in a bag with pretty wrapping paper...or none as we see in this lovely demonstration that saves energy, paper, and time!
6. Finding decorations for your house!
When you have a busy schedule is as busy as someone who actually is working now or even on Christmas. A simple bow will be the most you want to actually do for your house - inside or outside! The tree may be the only thing in your house that is decorated for Christmas and that is okay!
7. Family coming to the house!
Mhmm yeah so we all have that family that comes over and they have the bad kids, the ones who never stops drinking, the ones who never stops eating (unless you don't want leftovers), and the ones who won't stop talking that wish they would stuff their mouth to shut up.
There you have it ladies and gentleman. One fear for everyday of the week until you can sit down around the tree on Christmas Day...until next year when you have to do it all over again! Yes you will do this all over again because you told yourself last year this wouldn't happen again and look at what happened to you now. Just drink your eggnog, eat some ham, laugh until you cry, and just count down until next Christmas week when you can do this all over again!
