Recruitment is one of the best parts of the first steps to becoming a member of a sorority. Sorority life is one of the ways to become involved in the community through Philanthropy volunteer work. Each Sorority donates time and charitable funds to different charities to help fund finding cures for diseases and helping in their local community. It is no doubt sorority women have many advantages to joining continue reading for 7 things to look forward to during recruitment.
- Meeting all of your future Greek sisters.
You will have a chance to meet all of the future sorority sisters in the house you will choose for your forever family
- The feeling you get walking into the sorority houses while the chant for you. This feeling isn’t like any other.
- Finding acceptance in the community. As a sorority member you have many opportunities to make connections in the community as well as the college or university you attend.
- Finding great friendships in your potential new member group. In my group we all made plans to see each other even after recruitment was finished.
- Knowing you will have a sorority Big. It is like getting presents everyday of welcome week.
- Receiving a Bid on Bid day. This is when you will know exactly who your future lifelong sisters are.
- Learning about the histories of the sororities and knowing you will be a part of that history when future girls see the pictures on the walls of the house.
