As I hope you already know, you are dating one of the most beautiful and caring girls in the world, who also happens to be my best friend. Here are some things you should know if you don't already.

1. You date her, you date me.

This is as straight-forward as straight-forward gets. We are a package deal.

2. I will always be on her side.

No matter what the argument is about, even if she is wrong, I will always be on her side. It is a part of our BFF code.

3. Girls' nights are a thing.

Sorry (not sorry) to say, but you're not invited. From time to time, there will be nights where we want it to be just us girls. Please respect that. Oh, and don't be "butthurt" that you can't join because that's ridiculous.

4. I can keep a secret.

If you want to spoil her with presents or surprise her with a visit, I'm your go-to. I will never let you down when it comes to keeping a secret. It's also a plus that I know her ring size and what flowers are her favorite.

5. I have stalked and will continue to stalk your social media accounts.

I'm not afraid to admit this at all. I will lurk through your Twitter "likes" and I will also make sure you didn't double tap on your ex-girlfriend's latest Instagram post for the sake of my best friend.

6. She sends me screenshots.

If you send her something she finds worth sharing (funny/cute/mean), I promise you that I will be the first to get it.

7. And last, but certainly not least: you hurt her, I hurt you.

This is not a threat, but a promise. I will be your worst nightmare if you break my best friend's precious heart.
