If it's not you, then you definitely know someone who is an avid napper. If they don't answer their phone, they're probably napping. If they've been up for more than two hours, they probably need a nap. Out of my friends, I can 100% say I'm the napper out of the group. It's not as easy as it sounds though, having to plan your day around a nap. It's a constant, dreary cycle that we nappers endure. Here are some daily struggles that most nappers face:
1. Waking up
Waking up in the morning is where it all begins. You dread getting out of bed, but you drag yourself out and the day gets a little better once you instantly start to plan your nap.
2. Scheduling
Most people fit a nap into their schedule, but if you're a true napper, you plan your day around your nap. You always have to make sure you have enough time to take a long enough nap to be satisfied. If it's not long enough, is it even worth it?
3. Setting an alarm
When you nap you ALWAYS have to set an alarm. If not, you could most likely sleep for days at a time.
4. Confusion
That one time you forget to set an alarm and you wake up thinking it's May, 2017 but it's still November, 2016.
5. Missing plans
6. Being able to sleep anywhere
Being able to sleep anywhere is a blessing and a curse. When it comes to traveling we have no problem finding a window or shoulder to rest our heads on and passing out. Give us a blanket and we could most likely curl up on the floor and be happy as ever. Trying to stay awake in class however, is a constant struggle.
7. Procrastinating
"I'll do it after my nap," you say to yourself everyday. But then, we wake up and realize we slept our day away and did absolutely nothing productive at all.
