So you got an internship for the summer. That’s great. Now what?

Internships are awesome. They’re a great way to make connections, learn about a field you are potentially interested in and do everything in the office that nobody else wants to do. Seriously.

From one intern to another, here are seven signs that you have a summer internship.

1. You were very excited about buying business attire. Bye active wear!

2. Your daily Snapchat story includes pictures of you in said attire with captions like, “Working girl,” or, “Werrrrk.”

3. Your internship was titled financial internship when you found it online, but really you bind booklets from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. You do everything and anything that everyone else in the office does not want to do.

5. You have never experienced boredom quite like you do when your boss has no work for you to do in the office.

6. You feel very special when someone in the office gives you a task. You feel useful.

7. You are very thankful that someone hired a student with absolutely zero experience to work in their office for three months.
