7 Reasons Why It's Great To Be Back, And 7 Reasons Why It Isn't

7 Reasons Why It's Great To Be Back, And 7 Reasons Why It Isn't

Today is the first day back from spring break, and while it was great to be home, it's great to be back. I was only gone for a week, but it's good to be back at school. Here are a few reasons why its great to be back at college, and a few for why it isn't. So here is why it's good to be back!

1. I get to see my friends again

I had a great time back home, and I loved seeing my friends from back home again. However, it is great to be back at school with my college friends. One week apart seems way too long.

2. I get to be back in the dorms

The privacy of my own house is nice, and I really appreciate it as a luxury. However, I love being back in my dorm building. It's great to be around my hallmates, and even my RA. Our antics together, really are priceless.

3. I get to be busy again

Relaxing at home was great, but by the end of the week, it got a little boring. Even though it will be schoolwork, it'll be great to be busy again.

4. Basketball is about to be in the playoffs

March Madness is almost here, and its not out of the question that my school will be a part of it, and its incredibly exciting.

5. We are in the home stretch

After spring break, it's a sprint to the finish line, and then freshman year is over.

6. The weather is about to be nice again

Finally, I'll be able to un-bundle, and go outside without a jacket.

7. Siena Fest is closer than ever.

I can't wait to find out who is coming to our concert, or to finally go in April.

Now here is why it isn't.

1. I'll miss my friends from home

I had an awesome time with them at home, and I wish I could take them with me back to school.

2. No more sleeping in

Classes are back in swing, and now I have to wake up for them.

3. My dog couldn't come with me

I miss my little puppy.

4. I have to do my own laundry

My mom is no longer going to do my laundry for me anymore, and now I need to make the trek downstairs to the laundry room.

5. Shower Shoes

There is nothing more uncomfortable than wearing shoes in the shower.

6. Communal Bathrooms

Say goodbye to privacy, and two-ply toilet paper.

7. The Food

The dining hall is no match for Momma's home cooking.
