1. By the time your parents get to you, they don't care anymore!
They put up with your older siblings for long enough; by the time they get to you, they are way more lenient with what you do.
2. You never get blamed for anything, ever.
I mean, seriously, something goes wrong and your parents instantly blame your older siblings. It's like magic! Even if you did do something wrong, they still yell at your older siblings because they are supposed to "be good influences" and "watch out for your younger sibling." Seriously, it's awesome.
3. When you are 21, your older siblings will already be older than 21 so they have no reason not to go out with you on your 21st birthday!
They don't have the "I'm not old enough" excuse like you had. Like no thank you older sis I do not want to hold your hair while you puke in the bathroom of this bar, but you have to hold mine on my 21st.
4. You have your own personal bodyguards, for free!
Your older siblings care about you more than anyone else and would kill for you in a heartbeat. Oh, that boy you liked broke your heart? Your older siblings are on it. Or if that one girl you were dating cheated on you? She will not stop hearing from your older siblings for a while.
5. You watch your older siblings make mistakes and learn from them, so you don't have to make them yourself.
Remember that one time your older sister came home stumbling from drinking too much and your father screamed at her? Or that one time your brother got in trouble with the police for driving dangerously in his car? Yeah, you watched them get screamed at and sat with them while they were grounded. But you were also making mental notes to not ever do that, ever.
6. You have the best role models ever.
Being the youngest kid is great because your older siblings are people you will admire for the rest of your life. You watch them succeed and strive to be just like them. Whatever they do, you want to do. It has been this way ever since you were a tiny little person. They are the coolest people to you, and you will always look up to them.
7. You're the favorite child.
Because of everything your older siblings went through with your parents that you didn't because you learned through them, your parents like you the best. You have caused the least amount of trouble, and they love you for that.
