Valentines Day. The day dedicated to the Saint Valentine is something many people have come to completely hate, or completely adore. There doesn't seem like there's much room for gray area anymore in regards to this holiday.
On the one hand, I completely understand how one could not like Valentine's Day. There is a lot of pressure put on this holiday now a days to be a perfect day for couples and dreaded for those who don't have a significant other. Reservations are placed months in advanced for expensive restaurants and there is a mad dash to find the perfect present and be the perfect level of romantic to make the day #goals and be Insta-worthy. On the bright side, if you are bae-less this Valentine's Day, you're in luck. There are so many things to look forward to on this day you may never have thought of.

2. All your couple friends are busy, so you have a free day with nobody asking you to do stuff
You love your friends, but always having to do stuff starts to get tiring after awhile. With all your couple-y friends busy with each other it's the perfect day to drop in a Lush bath bomb and relax all day long. Nobody is bothering you today.
3. Heart shaped everything
Pizzas, cookies, cakes, candies, everything you could ever want in the shape of a heart. Who doesn't feel just a little bit better eating something in the shape of a heart? I know I feel better about it.
4. Half price stuff as soon as Valentine's day is over
This is pretty self explanatory. Sale stuff is cool.
5. All of your friends in relationships have too much candy to eat by themselves so you get to help eat it
No I won't buy myself one of those heart boxes of chocolates. Yes, I will take a bite out of every one of yours and help you eat it.
6. The perfect day to marathon all your favorite rom com movies and feel okay about it because it's 'in the spirit of the holiday.'
7. If all else fails, go out with your other single friends and have a Galentine's day Parks and Rec style
As you can see, Valentine's day doesn't have to be a sad day for all you singles out there. Get out and get some sweet Valentine's deals and curl up in a facemask with your favorite rom coms and some chocolates you stole from your friend. Who needs a bae anyway?
