7 Reasons To Love Donald Trump
TIME

Donald Trump, the Republican party frontrunner in the 2016 election, is taking America by storm. He surprised us all with running for going from businessman to president with no political knowledge, and has proved to excel. Leaving a trail of spray tan and toupees across America, Trump has won state primaries with a combination of his charming personality and smart policies. For those of you who are confused as to why The Donald has made it this far, here seven big reasons for his success.

1.) He's a family man.

No father daughter relationship is as pure and sweet as Trump and Ivanka's. The Donald is so infatuated with his daughter that he boasts of her amazing body and attractiveness, something every daughter wished their dad would notice.

2.) He completely understands women's rights.

In this cute little interview Trump had on MSNBC, we can be taken back 50 years when Trump acknowledges government control over women's reproductive rights would cause women to go to "illegal places" to get an abortion. Besides supporting the idea of dangerous, illegal abortions, Trump also states that women who get abortions will be punished while the father of the child will not be punished. Luckily, most pregnancies do not require a man and I never really wanted complete control over my body and rights anyway.

3.) He's not quick to judge.

The Donald is very understanding of all people, including David Duke: the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. Trump didn't disavow Duke's endorsement nor white supremacist support on the principle that he didn't know them. I try not judge members of the KKK either, I'm sure under those white robes they're nice people!

4.) His foreign policy.

Building a wall to separate us from the evil Mexicans is the best idea anyone could think of. He came up with a simple three day plan where Mexico will build and pay an easy, one payment of eight billion-fifteen billion dollars (the cost is still being worked out!) for this wall. I can't wait to see it happen and work its way around the Patriot Act and Administrative Procedure Act!

5.) He understands other cultures.

The Donald doesn't perpetuate racist stereotypes. Donald Trump knows Muslims just want to be freed from their oppressive culture and religion, and luckily he's here to save them. He also knows all Mexicans that come here are not hardworking, honest-living people but rapists, drug dealers, and criminals. America can never be great again with these people who make up our doctors, lawyers, and teachers here!

6.) He loves the Constitution.

Trump's support for the Constitution can be seen in his fight for Americans to embrace the second amendment. He hopes to allow concealed weapon carrying permits to be valid in all states. When asked how this would effect mass shootings, he claims it's the problems of the people, not an issue with the laws. Furthermore, with Trump's stance there have been no preventative measures proposed to counteract allowing concealed weapons everywhere. This is the only logical thing to happen in response to all the mass shootings and will only prevent more from happening!

7.) He will make America great again.

America can only be great again once we return to a racist, misogynistic, bigoted state it was in hundreds of years ago. Once we return to the glorious days where white supremacy reigned true, women were nothing more than child bearers, everyone was heterosexual, and everyone could freely carry guns will America truly be the great country it was. My only hope is that we erase hundreds of years of progress and acceptance and elect The Donald.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
