7 Reasons Why Luke Should Be The Next Bachelor

I, like many viewers, was very disappointed when ABC failed to inform us who the next bachelor would be during the showing of After the Final Rose. Normally, the next bachelor or bachelorette is fan-favorite who unfortunately did not receive a rose during the previous season. During this past season, almost all the men were fan-favorites (well maybe besides Chad and Evan). Although casting for the Bachelor has already began, ABC has not announced who the special man is. So now, viewers have been left to guess who next bachelor will be.

A few of the speculations for the next bachelor include: Robby, Luke, Chase, and maybe even meathead Chad. Although Robby and Chase are good choices, Luke is by far my favorite. When JoJo, the pervious bachelorette, sent Luke home I was devastated. Like seriously, what is not to love? He is truly a southern gentleman and I believe there are plenty of reasons that make Luke an ideal candidate to be the next bachelor.

1. He Is Very Good Looking

JoJo, just like all of us, could not help gushing over how attractive Luke is.

2. He Served In The Military

Luke went to West Point and served in the army. This shows that he has discipline, loyalty and love for his country. This makes him a great human, and a great fit for the bachelor.

3. He Has Faced Hardships

During JoJo’s season, Luke opened up about the trauma of losing one of his good friends while serving in the military. He has been through a lot and it would be interesting to learn more about his life for an entire season.

4. He Sings And Plays Guitar

Like hello? Who could resist a man who can sing AND play guitar? Being the Bachelor would also help promote his music career.

5. Chris Harrison Thinks He Is “The Whole Package"

Chris Harrison, the host of the Bachelor and Bachelorette, told Yahoo! that Luke is “smart, kind, and charming. He is the whole package.”

6. Luke Is Into The Idea

Luke told E! News that the Bachelorette worked for him because it allowed him to love again. Later, Luke told Glamour that if the opportunity “comes up, I’m open to that. I truly am."

7. He Expressed His Love

Although Luke admitted that it is hard for him to open up and express his emotions, during his hometown visit Luke had a surprise heart-shaped flower display that made all the viewers fall in love with him even more.

Typically the next bachelor or bachelorette is the person who ends up in third or fourth place, so things are looking god for Luke. Overall, I’d be shocked if they announce that anyone other than Luke will be the Bachelor in 2017. #TeamLuke
