Some of the best memories I have are with my two dogs. They can be complete sweethearts or the biggest brats in the world, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. They've taught me so much throughout my life, and I'm forever grateful for them. There's never a dull moment when having a dog, or two, or three, and here's why everyone should have at least one of these amazing animals:
1. You’ll never have to eat alone again.
That’s right. A dog will never let you sit there and eat that sad salad by yourself. Instead, they’ll sit there by your side with their big brown eyes, and offer to eat half of that for you.
2. You never have to worry about plans being cancelled.
Luckily dogs don’t drive or use phones, so whenever your home and feel like going for a run or just want to sit on the couch and watch Netflix, they are always down for whatever you want to do.
3. They act as a mini dishwasher.
No matter what it is, you can guarantee that if you set a plate in front of your furry friend, it will be clean in no time. Although they'll probably need a bath afterwards.
4. They don’t judge you.
You’ll never have to worry about hearing “I told you so” or hear constant nagging about spending your weekend in sweatpants, binge watching "The Office." If anything, they’ll gladly join you, and keep you warm.
5. Loyalty is their middle name.
When having a dog, you'll never have to worry about their loyalty. They eat, sleep and breathe you -- and only you. So when you feel like no one is ever there for you, get yourself a dog and you'll never have to feel like that again.
6. The guilt face is beyond precious.
It sucks walking into a room and seeing your brand new sandals shredded to pieces, but the look on their face shows that they are truly sorry about what they did, and know that it's just the cutest face in the entire world.
7. The love they have for you is nearly unbreakable.
Honestly, the love between a dog and a person is a very special one, and one of the best ones to have. Their whole life is revolved around you, and they are perfectly happy with that. No matter what, they will never turn their back on you and will love you forever.
