If you are anything like me, you might not be the world's best dancer. You probably stumble, trip, and end up with more bruises than a banana that was dropped down the stairs. However, it just feels right to be dancing. Read this list to reaffirm your heart's dreams, put some music on, and keep shaking your "groove thang."

1. Dancing is a terrific form of exercise

When you break a sweat dancing, you can burn around 221 calories, and that is just for one half-hour worth! We all know that, once you start dancing, hours go by without you even noticing! Before you know it that freshman 15 will be gone!

2. It puts a smile on your face

There is nothing more important in life than being happy. If the pursuit of happiness starts with you jamming out to the Jonas Brothers after your finals, well then that must be what our founding fathers wanted from us.

3. No one has to see you

Your dancing doesn't have to be saved for the club. Even the most shy of us can get down to dancing behind closed doors. Just turn the lock, put on your pajamas, and rock out. Added satisfaction can come from singing into your hairbrush and serenading your stuffed animals (or pet goldfish).

4. Your imagination can run free

Want to make up crazy dances that not even the best of dancers, (let alone yourself), would be able to perform? Maybe you want to make up your own play or music video. Or perhaps you just want to imagine that perfect moment with your crush that will probably never happen in real life. For any of these scenarios a jam session adds just the right flair you are looking for.

5. Anyone who is watching you now has a huge smile on their face

In the laughing with you, not at you way, of course. Nobody can resist the charm of someone unapologetically being themselves. Couple that with some rad moves and maybe your crush will actually notice you! Shakira's hips may not lie, but have they ever gotten her asked to the school dance? Well, probably, but so can yours!

6. You can boost your confidence levels

Nearly every somewhat-formal occasion today requires a little finesse on the dance floor. If you have been practicing on your own, there's no doubt that you'll be more prepared than the next fool at the event. Even if you don't know the exact song playing, you know just what kind of moves go with the genre. If you don't, well that doesn't matter either because your confidence in what you're doing will look great.

7. There is no dress code for grooving

Sure it might be the easiest to dance in leggings and other sports clothes, but there is no rule saying you can't dance in your Halloween costume from last year. So, go ahead, dab while dressed up as Ronald McDonald. Who is going to stop you? If you wanna bunny hop as a banana, all you have to worry about is the guy moshing in a gorilla costume next door!

Dancing has been around since the dawn of time, and for good reason. This high-energy, high-fun activity is just what we need to put smiles on our faces and giggles in our souls. So, put on your boogie shoes and come bust a move with the rest of us dancers at heart!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
