Well, it's a new year so it's a new me right? I get to make all these resolutions and stick to them throughout the entire year which will make me a better person in the end. Just kidding! New Year's resolutions are always what people want to do and this time of the year just gives them the excuse to say they're going to try and do these things. You don't need one specific day of the year to say, "I'm going to make a change!" You can start your resolutions at any point in time. You just need to have the willpower to be able to make sure you do it and don't quit. But, New Year's resolutions are always the common things that people want to make but end up giving up on after a couple of weeks. Kind of like these...
1. I'm going to start going to the gym!
We all know the first week of the new year is going to be insane in the gym. Just wait a little bit and these people will go away. They always do.
2. I'm going to start eating healthy and stop eating sweets.
You can't say no to chocolate forever...
3. Quit doing a bad habit.
It's easier said than done.
4. Volunteer more to help others.
You may start to volunteer somewhere but after a while you'll start making excuses to not go and then you'll end up not going anymore.
5. Make a routine and follow it.
Routines are good to have but doing the same thing at the same time on the same days will get boring. You need to change things up a bit!
6. To not binge watch anything on Netflix.
Let's be serious, it's Netflix. This won't happen.
7. To make smart decisions.
We all make mistakes, it's how we learn!
If you have a resolution, then don't wait until New Year's Day. Start it the day you think of it and make sure you have the will power to stick to it!
