7 Great Party Games

One thing I always love about parties are the crazy games that happen, and sometimes get way out of hand. While there are many types of games played, here are the top games I love to play with my friends.

1. Clue: The Classic Mystery Game

A classic game about solving a murder, hat could be better than that! Clue is a fairly old game in this line-up, but it is a classic for a reason. This game is always fun to play, and if you are having a Sherlock themed party, this game is definitely a must have at the party.

2. Trivial Pursuit

For all of the know-it-alls, this game is the best game ever. There are many different versions, which means there is a version out there for everyone to enjoy, my personal favorite has to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe edition. This game is another classic on this list of games.

3. Jenga

Jenga is one of the most nerve-wracking games ever to play with any aspiring engineers, but is always fun to play with a group of friends. Jenga, big or small, is a fun game of luck and balancing skills all meshed into one game of stacking block on top of each other. Adding the element of truth or dare to the game is also a new way to keep the game interesting, and a must to try at least once.

4. Apples To Apples

Apples To Apples is a card game where one person is a judge who decides which card is the best for a green card containing an adjective. The game can be played seriously or extremely sarcastically, and is never boring. This game is a very family-friendly type game, and I would recommend this at almost any party to get things started, because chaos can ensue from playing.

5. Cards Against Humanity

A extremely grown-up version of Apples To Apples, I do not recommend playing this with your mom or dad. With that said, it is one of the funniest games to play at a party, ever. With vulgar, and downright offending cards, a group of strangers can get to know who they are playing with quite quickly with this card game. This game is hilarious, and definitely worth a try.

6. Pictionary

A game for all ages, and especially for the artists. No one can really go wrong with playing Pictionary at a party, even if you are a bad artist, because that adds the element of hilarity to the game. This game can be played with children, or become very adult quickly, and is flexible to fit at any party, maybe is just to plan a party around the game itself.

7. The Song Game

A game kind of made up by a close friend of mine, and based on the Sing-Off from "Pitch Perfect", this is the kind of game meant for music lovers and up and coming singers. The game is played by drawing either from a bag filled with artist or a bag filled with words, depending on how you ant to play, and the person who drew from the bag must sing a song that is either by the artist they drew, or contains the word they picked in the lyrics. To make it tougher, you can draw both the artist and word. This game can go on for hours, and can go back and forth, but is extreme fun for the performer in you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
