If you're like me, then you are currently feeling like there is a gaping whole in your heart now that "Stranger Things" season 3 is over. We are unsure when the next season will be released—heck, it could be two years from now. I don't believe it will be any time soon, sadly. With a major cliffhanger and the constant desire to see Steve Harrington and his fabulous hair in action, the obsession and emptiness is growing. I find myself currently fixated over everything about the show and the characters and need a daily fix of something now that I have watched the whole show.
Here are some ways to cope with the emptiness as we patiently wait for the next season of "Stranger Things:"
1. Watch YouTube videos.
In your free time, watch videos on YouTube of the cast doing talk shows or playing hysterical games with each other. You'll get to see your favorite people, in a different setting, performing in some type of way and feeling more connected in a sense as they discuss their opinions on things about the show.
2. Follow the cast on social media.
Ever wonder how funny Joe Keery, Steve Harrington, is in real life? Please go visit his Twitter. He and Gaten Matarazzo are more than just best friends on the screen. The bond they have spills into real life, and us "Stranger Things" fans are grateful for it. All in all, following them on social media is a great way to keep in the loop with the actors and stay connected with them.
3. Watch "Beyond Stranger Things."
This is a talk show all about season two that includes the cast and directors as guests. This allows us to see the actors' perspectives and thoughts on the themes and plot of the season while still getting a taste of their awesome personalities. Plus, more screen time for our favorite people!
4. Read articles.
Curious to see what's happening next in the "Stranger Things" world? Read articles about the show. It will give you more insight on what is going on, conspiracy theories, discussion, and when the show is estimated to come back.
5. Re-watch the seasons.
Re-watch episodes and see if you can make connections you didn't before. The Duffer brothers put lots of Easter eggs in each episode, so maybe you'll be able to crack the code and find out what season 4 is going to be like.
6. Buy apparel.
This is a little much for me, but if you really are a super fan, buy some "Stranger Things" apparel or just go online and browse. Looking at items related to the TV show will get you excited and connected more to it.
7. Start the "NeverEnding" challenge.
Many fans have hopped on the bandwagon of pulling a Dustin and Susie by dancing to "Never Ending Story" and posting it on Instagram. Be the one to start it in your friend group and tag your friends! It will be funny to see everyone's specific dances to the song.
