When you've been a student at the University At Albany for more than a semester, you begin to realize things that start to get on your nerves. Whether its being hustled by a cab driver or the school seemingly starving you out every chance they get. Here's a list of some of the things UAlbany students find themselves reacting to on a day to day basis.
1. When some idiot sets off the fire alarm in your building at an ungodly hour and wakes you up.
Even if you've been in UAlbany for as little a month, you know damn well that theres been at least one occurrence of some moron trying to make popcorn at 3am and ultimately failing. This immediately results to a blaring noise that no human could possibly sleep/sit through for more than 5 minutes without wanting jump out of their window.
2. When your cab driver tries to charge you more than 3 dollars a person.
As UAlbany students, I think we've all had to deal with the occasional greedy cab driver who thinks its normal to charge a group of more than 3 people 5 dollars a person for a 5 minute taxi ride. You're taking us to Quail street not Vermont.
3. When the temperature falls below 0 degrees.
Let's just say going to school in the Tundra would have been equally as difficult.
4. Running into a UAPD officer before or after doing something illegal.
"I swear to drunk I'm not God, officer."
5. When the vending machine in your building is out of service or not accepting munch money.
If you're gonna close the dining hall at 8pm, at LEAST let me eat my snacks.
6. When your at a party downtown and you lose your friends.
There's no scarier feeling than turning around for a second at a party and losing your entire friend group.* Play it cool, play it cool*
7. When they close the only dining hall with edible food to try and force you to go to a sports game.
I DONT CARE if there's a football game today, stop trying to force me to represent a team that isn't even that good by starving me out.
