Halloween is always my favorite time of the year. As a girl, finding a Halloween costume that is not "basic" is always a difficult task. Every year we stress about something unique to be, but in reality, there will be 10 other people with our same costume. I'm sure this Halloween you will see some of these basic costumes:

1. Any costume that has animal ears.

You already know that this Halloween 50% of girls are going to be wearing either cat, mouse, or bunny ears. I am guilty of doing this too because it's so easy to put together.

2. The Risky Business costume.

You will see a ton of girls wearing an over-sized button down shirts, that was borrowed from a guy friend. She will probably pair this with knee high socks and a backwards hat to add to the basic-ness of the costume.

3. A girl in an over-sized Jersey, face paint, and knee high socks.

This is another basic costume where a girl will usually steal a jersey from a guy to either wear as a dress or tie up in the back. You also can't forget about the knee high socks with the face paint!

4. Squad Superhero Costumes.

This squad costume is one of my favorites out of the 6 that I am definitely guilty of. The superhero corsets always make appearances on Halloween since it's great for a group of friends to do a costume together.

5. A sexy ________ (cop, nurse, etc.).

This is another popular one among College kids. Any costume you can imagine can be turned into a "sexy costume" in College. The popular ones are a cop, nurse, witch, cowgirl, and even firefighter.

6. Angel and Devil.

This is another basic costume that is guaranteed to be worn by two best friends. This one is so easy because you just need the two headpieces along with two solid colored outfits.
