Who says cartoons are only for kids? It doesn't matter how old you are, there are just some movies that are great whether you're an actual kid or a college student who still feels like a kid. There are a lot of great cartoon movies, but here are just seven that you should check out (or watch again).

1. Inside Out

"Inside Out" is about 11-year-old Riley who is dealing with all of the emotions that come along with moving but kids aren't the only ones who will find this movie relatable. The focus is on her emotions who are having a tough time with all of the changes going on in her life. Joy just wants to make her as happy as possible, but Sadness keeps getting in her way. Or is she actually helping?

2. Lilo & Stitch

Before "Frozen" was the only Disney movie that included sisterly love, there was "Lilo & Stitch." Seriously though, this movie is unique and absolutely adorable. Lilo has a hard time fitting in and making friends, so that's why she's so excited when she gets a dog! Or so she thinks. It's actually an alien. Which honestly is way cooler anyway. It focuses on family and friendships, plus it has some really awesome music.

3. Tangled

There are a lot of great Disney princess movies so many of them could be on this list, but Tangled is my favorite. This Disney take on Rapunzel includes amazing music and is simply a well done and adorable movie.

4. The Emperor's New Groove

Kuzco is a mean emperor who gets turned into a lama and is trying to get back home so he can become a human again. Sounds weird, but part of the reason why it's so awesome. It has amazing music, hilarious characters, a one of a kind story and possibly best of all, a practically nonexistent fourth wall. Seriously, the amount of times they break the fourth wall is great and is perfectly done.

5. Toy Story

There are three Toy Story movies, but nothing beats the original. It was the first computer-animated feature film but it's still an amazing movie after all these years.

6. Up

This movie is incredibly emotional for a kids movie, and if you haven't seen it, I promise I'm not exaggerating. The first ten minutes alone could make you cry. That being said, this movie isn't all sad. It's touching and funny as well.

7. Zootopia

Judy just wants to make her dream come true and join the police force despite all of the obstacles that could keep her from it. Even once she does though, there are still those who try to keep her from reaching her potential. This movie is so funny plus it has a lot of lessons that even adults should pay attention to.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
