I often forget, like most, the true beauty that every state holds when one is willing to see it for what it really is. Tennessee is one of the most underrated states in my opinion. It has so much to offer, from beautiful nature scapes, an abundance of history, stunning architecture, and of course the culture dominated by music.

National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis

Lookout Mountain near Chattanooga

Beale Street in Memphis

This street is actually a National Historic Landmark, stemming from its long line of esteemed performers It was declared the Home of the Blues by an act of Congress in 1977.

Grand Ole Opry in Nashville

Adventure Science Center in Nashville

Lost Sea Cave near Sweetwater in Monroe county

Discovery Park of America in Union City

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge

Shelby Farms Park in Memphis

Parrot Mountain & Gardens in Pigeon Forge

Virgin Falls Pocket Wilderness in Sparta

If you want to take a drive-by something that'll make you say "oh wow" then the spaceship house is for you. It's exactly how it sounds, with no lead-up, all of a sudden there is just a giant space ship in with the trees.

From 3 To 89, Ages Referenced In Taylor Swift Songs

Are you at one of the ages mentioned in Taylor Swift's songs?

Before Taylor Swift's transition from a country/pop sweetheart to a crazed vengeful victim, I was a huge fan of hers. I've been listening to her music for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, as an observant T Swift fan, I've noticed her penchant for mentioning ages in her songs. Maybe she does this so she can look back on these songs and remember how old she was when she had these experiences. Or maybe she does it so her fans have another level to relate to her on. For at least my past seven birthdays, I've checked to see if Taylor Swift mentioned my new age in one of her songs.

Reasons Why You Don't Fit Into Your Generation

For those who have always felt a little out of place.

15545
puzzle pieces representing not fitting in this generation

Throughout my entire young adult life, I have never truly felt like I could connect with most people my age. Parents and teachers have said things like: "you're such an old soul" or "you're wise beyond your years," and all I know is that I don't seem to fit into my generation. Recently, there has been a lot of controversy as to whether or not my generation is lazy and unappreciative. While I do not think this is totally true, I do have a problem with the way many people my age present themselves in society. This being said, I am not sure if I am more upset with my generation or the group of people I have been forced to be associated with during this time of adolescence; for if things change when we enter the next phase of life, I might feel differently about "my generation".
