When you think of spring break, most people think of epic parties on the beach. People just normally think beach in general, but if you're not into that, I have a few places you can start planning to visit next spring break that most people overlook.

If you're thinking "why would anyone want to spend spring break here" you desperately need to visit D.C. While you can't actually shop at The National Mall, it's a pretty incredible place to go and see the different sculptures and attractions. But if you're really just interested in shopping, Georgetown is the place to go, and you can even hit up Georgetown Cupcakes and have the best cupcakes you'll ever eat.
5. Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville is full of touristy things to do. They have amazing shopping districts, food, and bomb live music. Plus a ton of celebrities
6. Seattle, Washington
Besides being an incredibly beautiful city, there's plenty of things to do in Seattle. For the "basic white" girl in you, you can visit the original Starbucks! You could also visit the famous Space Needle or take a walk in one of the numerous parks the city has.
