5 Underrated Movies That Will Make You Feel All The Feels

Movies are all about connection. There's something about watching stories unfold that are relatable to our situations that is so comforting. However, there are certain movies that just stand out above the rest. Those are the ones that make you feel something long after the movie ends. The situations that are portrayed on the big screen seriously make a lasting impact on us. Here's a list of underrated movies that will make you feel all types of ways.

1. "Begin Again"

The Feels You'll Feel: Happiness Empowerment, Fulfillment

This movie is seriously so cute. I cannot help but feel all warm inside after I watch it. Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightly star in this cute film filled with music and second chances. This is my go-to movie for when I'm sad and confused about anything going on in life. Also, Adam Levine is the mean ex-boyfriend...need I say more?

2. "Stuck In Love"

The Feels You'll Feel: Sadness, Sadness, Some More Sadness

This movie seriously messed me up. You will cry your eyes out. From the cast, the plot, and the ending, this film will hurt your heart in a good way. Teen drama, broken relationships, and the bond of a family are main plot points in this movie. Make sure to get a box of tissues.

3. "One Day"

The Feels You'll Feel: Hopefulness, Sadness

Two people stay connected for twenty years and reconnect every so often to catch up on their lives. This movie is so hopeful because it shows that what is meant to be will find a way to happen. It will make you sad because you want them to just be together already!

4. "Mr. Nobody"

The Feels You'll Feel: Confusion, Mind-Blown

This is my favorite movie of all time. I have probably watched this film 100 times, and still catch something new each time I see it. What I love so much about this movie is that it shows how much impact our choices make in our lives. We may not always think certain choices are all that important, but they can add up to change the complete fabric of our lives. We are only given so much time, and have we really made all of the right decisions?

5. "A Girl Like Her"

The Feels You'll Feel: Anger, Pain

This movie broke my heart and made me want to punch a wall at the same time. This film follows a girl who is being bullied at school. Something tragic happens, and everything is filmed by her friend who wanted to catch the bully in the act. This movie really hurts because you know that stuff like this actually happens in schools, and bullying is still very prevalent in our society. After watching this movie, I just want to go and hug every girl who has been a victim of someone so cruel.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
