6 Things You Absolutely Can't Forget To Pack For Your Next Summer Vacation

The summer is here, and you and your friends are planning a little road trip. The question is, "What do I need to pack?" There is a lot of stuff that you need for a road trip regardless of how long the trip is or where you're going. I have compiled a list of stuff you ABSOLUTELY need for a good road trip.

1. Clothes and toiletries (duh..)

This is obvious unless you're going to a nudist colony or something.

2. Backpack

You will need to carry stuff around obviously, and purses and satchels get stolen all the time! Backpacks are a lot easier to carry around.

3. Chargers...lots of chargers

If you're anything like me then you know how important that phone in your pocket can be, chargers are a necessity.

4. A rocking playlist! (or audio book)

If you're going to be in the car for a long time. a playlist is essential! Cures boredom and allows for the ever loved jam session! Just don't play trash when your friends hand you the aux cord.

5. Cameras

These are mostly for the Instagram photographers but it makes it a bit easier than making sure you have that small SD card in your phone.

6. Multiple shoes (one or two pairs will do)

Dress shoes for nice dinners, tennis shoes if you're going to see the sites. Okay? Okay.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
