There's no doubt that Netflix has produced its number of raving original series. For example, the hilarious "Grace and Frankie," or fascinatingly addicting "Orange is the New Black." But along comes "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" to change the game. The series that was written by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock is making waves with its thought-provoking humor and hilariously "punny" wit. There are a number of reasons that Netflix watchers should enjoy this series, but here are just six of those reasons.

1. Accepting relationships.

The second season features Titus, roommate and friend of Kimmy, in an openly homosexual relationship. It's nice to know that seeing gays on screen is not as taboo as in previous years.

2. It's all about feminine strength.

Kimmy Schmidt was stuck in an underground bunker cult for 15 years. I mean, you kind of have to be strong to make it through that.

3. It's okay to be a little weird.

This show is full of people who have their little quirks, but ultimately, they're all just people trying to make it in this crazy thing we call life.

4. It's okay to be a strong, confident woman.

Lillian is the embodiment of being a strong woman. She lives alone after shooting her husband by accident and is completely in love with life.

5. It teaches the value of family.

Kimmy, who never had a mother, and was abandoned after going into the bunker, doesn't know a lot about family. But she learns by finding a new family of her own.

6. It teaches the importance of staying true to who you are.

This show emphasizes the importance of knowing who you are and being able to love that person. It definitely makes sure that the message of strong women is portrayed.

All in all, "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" is such a stellar show with fantastic writing. This show shines through with it's ability to make any audience smile. It makes proud political and moral statements on feminism, sexism, gender wage gap, and self-discovery. Give it a watch, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
