The majority of the time, it seems like people want to hang out with anyone but their family. As I've grown older, I've come to realize more and more that my siblings are by far the best friends I'll ever have. Yes, we may annoy each other sometimes, but I wouldn't trade them for anyone else in the world. Here are six reasons that my brothers and sisters are my best friends.
1. They've been there since day one.

2. They've seen me at my worst, but still love me.
I'll be honest, my siblings tend to see more of my worst than my best (Sorry guys). I can be a jerk at times, but my family forgives me and loves me unconditionally. If that's not a picture of God's grace, I don't know what is.
3. We share a lifetime of memories.
I don't have many memories that don't include my siblings. We've done everything together. We've been to each other's sports games and recitals. We've been on countless road trips together and have some pretty funny stories. We faced that awkward middle school stage together. Now we're navigating through college with each other.
4. They make the most trustworthy confidantes.
I can tell my family anything. Some of my favorite memories are of all of us talking and laughing together. I know I can safely confide in them. I never have to worry about them talking behind my back.
5. They understand what it's like being a multiple.
Not many people can relate to being a multiple. My brothers and sisters will always be able to relate to me. We can laugh together about the funny reactions and questions we get and express common frustration at being treated like a unit instead of individuals. No one else can understand the blessing of having four siblings the same age as you.
6. Built in companionship
When you share a room with your sisters, life can turn into a slumber party, with late night chats and being just plain goofy. There's always someone to hang out with and do fun things with. You're never lonely.
Other friends will come and go, but your family will always be there for you. Though we'll eventually take different paths and go on separate adventures, no one will ever be as close to me as my siblings. We truly are best friends.
