Fall is a great season. There are so many things to do. From what I hear from most people, fall is their favorite season. Whether it’s for the holidays, the scenery, or the fall aesthetic some try to achieve, fall is amazing.
1. Colder Weather
The colder weather means I can finally pull out all of my chunky cardigans and thick sweaters. There is always a nice little breeze where a sweater will keep you warm. I can live on leggings, long cardigans, and boots every day. As much as I adore chilly weather, I highly dislike winter. Mostly because carrying around a giant jacket does nothing but cause issues.
2. Pumpkin Spice Lattes
Yes, I am one of those people who love PSL's. I wait all year for this specific time for one of my favorite drinks to be available so I make every excuse to make a Starbucks run. There is just something comforting about having a hot cup of pumpkin spice latte while going on a walk. It is just relaxing to me.
3. Scenery
As general as this sounds, I love the scenery in the fall. The changing colors of the leaves, on the trees and on the ground, makes me happy. Driving down the road and seeing the different colors on the trees make for a great photograph as well. The scenery also pushes me to go outside more. In the summer, it is too hot to do anything. In the winter, the snow makes everything difficult. Fall is the perfect season to go outdoors and enjoy nature.
4. Halloween
Halloween is one of the best holidays. Kids go around and get candy. People get dressed up to be something they are not on a regular basis. It gives people a chance to be different for a day, which is incredible. Also, who doesn’t love free candy?
5. Apple Orchards
I love going to the apple orchard. Again, it goes with fall having the perfect weather to do outside activities. But getting fresh apples from it is pretty amazing.
6. Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a holiday my family take pretty seriously. Everybody gathers and we spend the entire day eating and relaxing. To be honest, there is nothing better than that. The best thing is that, as a family, we all go Black Friday shopping together as well. It’s just a full two days of spending time with the people you love the most.
