6 'Quantico' Characters You Originally Know From Other Shows

Noticing characters from other shows is like a fun little game I can play while entering a dark hole of binge-watching television.

6 'Quantico' Characters You Originally Know From Other Shows

This week I started to binge-watch “Quantico,” which was probably the best decision I have made in my life. It has all of the action, romance, drama and mystery you could ever need from a show. I literally cannot stop watching it. I am about halfway into the first season, which premiered this past year, and I think it is fantastic. One thing I have noticed, however, is that a lot of characters on the show I have seen before on other shows, whether they were main characters or not. So, let’s see who from “Quantico” we have seen elsewhere — if you could not quite put your finger on it before, hopefully you can now.

DISCLAIMER: I am only about eight or nine episodes into Quantico," so all of my character judgments are based on what I know and no other further knowledge of them. I also know that new characters are introduced later on in the season that have been on other shows, but since I am not up to whatever point of the show they are featured on, I did not include them.

1. Josh Hopkins (Liam O’Connor) on “Cougar Town”

Hopkins plays a shady drunk as Liam O’Connor on “Quantico,” but plenty know him as Grayson Ellis on “Cougar Town.” It is interesting to see such a difference between the two characters, jumping from a resident funny guy on a comedy starring Courteney Cox to a dramatic FBI agent on the breakout hit that is “Quantico.”

2. Johanna Braddy (Shelby Wyatt) on “Greek”

Braddy played a former sorority girl on the hit ABC Family (now Freeform) show and dated both Rusty and Andy as a recurring character. Now, she plays a Southern Belle/Badass Hunter/FBI agent. This image shows how different Braddy looked on "Greek" as opposed to her character now. Talk about a transformation.

3. Graham Rogers (Caleb Haas) on “Revolution”

The resident arrogant, but overall endearing, pretty-boy Caleb played an overall sad-boy type of character on the crash-and-burn drama-thriller that was “Revolution” on NBC. Seriously, that show had so much potential and then completely fell apart, but I digress. Rogers played Danny, the main character Charlie’s brother, and eventually died halfway through season one, unfortunately.

4. Jacob Artist (Brandon Fletcher) on “Glee”

I am not going to lie, I was so excited to see Jacob Artist on “Quantico” a few episodes in. Even though I overall dislike Fletcher on the show and think that his beard/scruff situation has got to go, I always think of “Glee” whenever I see him on the screen. No one can forget that Artist portrayed Jake Puckerman on “Glee” for practically three seasons. No matter how much of a jerk he can be, I loved Jake Puckerman most of the time and I love seeing Artist play Fletcher on “Quantico.”

5. Rick Cosnett (Elias Harper) on “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Flash”

Cosnett is a veteran of The CW, having a role on two different shows there before recurring on “Quantico.” Cosnett had a recurring role on season five of “The Vampire Diaries” as the evil Dr. Wes Maxfield, who was honestly into some pretty weird stuff, and then played Eddie Thawne on everyone’s favorite superhero show, “The Flash.” Although he was a bit creepy on “Quantico,” he was still less creepy than his two previous characters (although Eddie's creepiness on "The Flash" is not something everyone agrees on...)

6. Mark Pellegrino (Clayton Haas) on Pretty Much Every TV Show Imaginable

God, what show was he not on? All jokes aside, Pellegrino has several other shows under his belt. He plays Caleb’s annoying and slightly terrible father, and an even worse FBI official, but has played a number of other characters. His resume includes playing the confusing and powerful Jacob on “Lost,” Lucifer on “Supernatural,” Bishop on “Being Human,” Dr. Jedikiah Price on “The Tomorrow People,” and Jeremy Baker on “Revolution” (just like his son Caleb on “Quantico”).

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
