When we go to the grocery store, most of us buy the same old same old, milk, eggs and bread. I'm here to open a new door for you at the grocery. There are many products that you should give a try because they are healthy and tasty! I love food, and these are some of my favorite things to buy:
1. Powdered Peanut Butter
There are many different brands of this stuff. I recommend PB2! Powdered peanut butter has way less fat and has so many great uses. You can put it in smoothies, oatmeal, ice cream or create a similar consistency to peanut butter and lick it off of the spoon or put it on a sandwich, basically anything you can think of! I always end up using this stuff more than just once a day.
2. Unsweetened Almond Milk
lmond milk is a great replacement for regular milk. It has less calories than regular dairy milk and your are still getting your calcium! It also has a longer shelf life which is perfect for college students.
3. Plain Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt is high in protein and you can mix it up many different ways (look at one of my previous articles.) Chobani is my favorite!
4. English Muffins
Cut it in half put it in the toaster and they are super tasty. They are a great healthy replacement to bagels, and they are great for on the go breakfast.
5. Wholly Guacamole Classic Minis
Hands downs this stuff is so amazing! This is great to eat with chips or spreading it on a sandwich! You can easily bring with you for your lunch.
6. Halo Top Ice Cream
This is a dieters dream. Halo Top tastes as amazing as regular ice cream. This stuff costs about the same amount as a pint of Ben and Jerry's, but now you can eat the pint guilt free. The whole container is only 240 calories! That's ridiculous.
Most of these products can be found at your local grocery store. These foods make my mouth and belly happy. I hope that you try these products and enjoy them as much as I do.
