In her track "Welcome To New York" Taylor Swift sings, "Welcome to New York / It's been waiting for you." I’ve always been a fan of Taylor Swift and I’m not ashamed to admit it. When I first heard that she’d moved to the city, I was ecstatic! Where would she hangout? What would she do? Would she go to places that I've been to before? Turns out that some of her favorites are also some of mine.

1. Levain Bakery
In an Instagram post from October 2014, Swift claimed that these cookies turned her day around. Located on the Upper West Side, this bakery is home to some of the best baguettes and rolls you’ll find. Dark chocolate chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip walnut, oatmeal raising and more! What could be better than that? Maybe the fact that the items that don’t sell that day help to feed the hungry.
2. Bubby's
If you’re looking to grab a bite to eat with a friend, then this is the perfect location. From fried chicken dinners to burgers to homemade pies, this place has it all. Their brunch lasts from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. There are few things that beat an eight hour brunch.

With dinner served from 5:30 p.m. until 2 a.m., this is the perfect stop for you if you ever find yourself hungry late at night. Hint hint: get the shoestring fries!
5. L'asso
Even international superstars need their pizza and that’s just what Miss Swift did. Located in Little Italy, L’asso offers more than a dozen pizzas on their menu. I’ll be back for you, Quattro Formaggio pizza.
6. Angelica Kitchen
Angelica Kitchen is pure vegan, but that doesn’t stop me or Swift from grabbing lunch there. It’s just that good. They’ve got everything from three bean chili to Reuben sandwiches.
