Like many other baseball fans, I hope to someday visit all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. Although I have only visited about half of them stadiums, there are a few that astonished me. I believe that all baseball fans should visit them at some point in their lives. Also, there are many stadiums I hope to visit soon so I can cross them off my bucket list. Here is a list of the 6 major league ballparks that I believe every baseball fan should see during their lifetime.
1. Wrigley Field
Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, is iconic to say the least. There’s a reason the Cubs have stayed in Wrigley Field for over 100 years. Being baseball's second-oldest stadium, Wrigley offers cozy seating, a fun surrounding neighborhood, and its beautiful trademark ivy on the outfield wall. Though there have been renovations, Wrigley has an old-timey feel that cannot be beat.
2. Fenway Park
If you are a baseball history buff, Fenway Park is the stadium for you to visit. This is probably one of the only places, if not the only place, where spending $100 on an obstructed-view seat is well worth it. Better an obstructed view than no view, right? The atmosphere at Fenway is tough to beat. Sure, it may have its quirks, but nothing beats the Green Monster!3. AT&T Park
Beginning with the 2000 baseball season, the Giants moved into AT&T Park from Candlestick Park. It’s another stadium with a breathtaking view of the Bay and McCovey Cove. AT&T Park is known for its atmosphere and delectable dishes such as the famous Cha Cha Bowl.
4. PNC Park
In my opinion, PNC Park has the best view out of every MLB stadium. The Pittsburgh skyline is basically at the top of the stadium, providing an amazing view to watch a good game. Since the Pirates are often a good team, and there is amazing food at the ballpark such as the "Cracker Jack and Mac Dog," the atmosphere of a ballgame PNC Park is unbeatable.
5. Dodgers Stadium
Dodger's Stadium provides the perfect blend of traditional and modern entities of baseball stadiums. The Dodgers may not have the most reliable, or passionate fanbase but they do have things like the Dodger Dog, and a beautiful view to enjoy!
6. Busch Stadium
Finally, having the most kin and passionate fans in baseball, Busch Stadium never fails to disappoint. With a view of beautiful St. Louis and The Gateway Arch in St Louis, there is nothing better than a day out at this St. Louis Ballpark. Surrounded by Baseball VIllage, you could never run out of things to do!
