One Button Studio
Next time you have a video project assignment, you should film it using the One Button Studio in the Gateway Library. This resource will help your video look professional, and you will have access to a three-point light kit, shotgun microphone, and presentation computer. Best of all, you don’t need to have prior video experience to use this equipment, and anyone can use it! You Can Check Out Your Textbooks From the Library
Can’t find your textbook and need to do homework or study for a test? Don’t want to buy the textbook? No big deal! The library has a copy of most textbooks students currently use that you can check out for two hour periods. If nobody else needs to use it, you can extend the checkout. Be warned, though, if you turn it in late, there is a huge fine, and there are some regulations regarding what kind of textbooks they have available. The Office of Student Involvement Gives Out Free Movie tickets
If you go to the Office of Student Involvement in the HUB, you can get free movie tickets for whatever is showing that weekend the University Mall Theater. Note that quantities are limited, so go early if you want a ticket.

The Ridge Study Lounge
Hidden in a corner by the entrance of Blue Ridge Residence Hall, is a study lounge that is usually pretty empty. Though it is designed for off-campus students to have a place to relax and regroup between classes, anyone can use this resource. This space is not normally open 24/7, but is a nice place to go if you need a place to study.
