If you’ve lived here all your life, Bucks County may seem like a bore. But there are a ton of things to do in Bucks County this summer. This is by no means a full list of all fun Bucks County summer activities, but just a few favorites.
1. New Hope - Spend a nice summer day exploring the cute (yet strange) town of New Hope. Check out the stores, grab a bite to eat, and maybe see a show at the Bucks County Playhouse. Get all your witching needs, a tattoo, some vintage clothing, or anything else you can think of. Or, go to a nice dinner and sit outside if the weather is good. New Hope is a great place to have a nice time.
2. Tubing down the Delaware River - Cool off this summer with a relaxing float down the Delaware. Don’t forget to make a pit stop in the middle of the river to grab something to eat from the famous river hot dog man. This is a great activity for water lovers of any age.
3. Tyler State Park - Check out the awesome trails and scenery amongst the 1,700 plus acre park. Ride your bike, scooter, unicycle, or walk though the paved or unpaved trails. You can even fish (the Neshaminy Creek runs through the park) or ride horses. Pack a basket and enjoy a great picnic amongst nature.
4. Sesame Place – If there are any young children in your life, take them to Sesame place this summer. They will have a blast and you will have a blast watching them have so much fun. There are shows and parades which provide fun for all ages.
5. Peddler’s Village – Peddler’s village is a unique shopping experience. They also have cute festivals such as the Strawberry Festival (May 21-22), Paris in the Village (June 23-26), Red, White and Blue BBQ Bash (July 2), and Bluegrass and Blueberries (July 16-17) and more! There are awesome festivals every month as well as their regular shopping and beautiful scenery.

6. Ringing Rocks County Park - This is a must see! Bring your hammer and take a trip to ringing rocks, you wont regret it. When you get there you are greeted with a boulder field as far as you can see (130 acres!). But take your hammer and bang the rocks, you will be greeted with an unexpected surprise; the rocks ring like bells! Climb though the rocks to hear all different sounds and pitches. Bring a group and you may even be able to play a song! This is something that you have to see to believe.
