Ending a show on Netflix is like going through a bad break up; you're happy the emotional roller coaster is over with but there are always unresolved questions. You get so invested in the characters, the environment of the show, and the stories that are portrayed in the show that when it's over, you feel the need to automatically invest your time into a different show. Here are six absolutely addicting shows on Netflix to keep you busy all night (and day.)

1. Grey’s Anatomy


Warning: Do not begin to watch this show unless you are ready for an emotional roller coaster and being extremely invested in the characters of the show. "Grey’s Anatomy" is extremely addictive in a way that sort of glorifies living a life of tragedy and issues. Meredith Grey somehow makes us all realize that it is okay to fall apart in life, just keep drinking tequila!

2. How I Met Your Mother

Marshall and Lily will remind you what a soulmate is and teach you how to love unconditionally while having fun with each other. "How I Met Your Mother" will pull you into the life of young professionals living in NYC and the hardships of relationships and career paths, making light of this time in their lives by drinking at the same bar every night.

3. New Girl

It really takes a lot to make me truly LOL, but "New Girl" never fails to make me laugh out loud by myself. You get so invested in the nature of the characters and the fun comedic vibes of LA living with your best friends. It is truly addicting to laugh at every episode and also invest in the characters’ relationships and lives.

4. Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad

Obviously, one of televisions greatest shows. Once you think it can’t get any crazier, Walter White will show you crazy. "Breaking Bad" is as addicting as the meth they cook.

5. Friday Night Lights

For a homey southern feel, "Friday Night Lights" will give you the entertainment of sports and drama tied together. I have been addicted to this show for years, slowly watching episode by episode.

6. Gossip Girl

What better show to watch while living in NYC, "Gossip Girl" is addicting in that it allows you to pretend to live in the glamorous lives of the “elite” on the Upper East Side. DIDiT NY, take notes on NYC’s most expensive and exclusive list of places to host an event and hotel lobbies to drink in!
